I took my friends out for lunch on the last day in Denmark. We went to “
Cafè Lindevang” på Peter Bangs Vejen. It’s a place where you get good old-fashioned traditional Danish smørebrød (open sandwiches), and I would dare anyone to order and eat two portions. I know out of experience that the portions are gigantic; but check the pictures and judge for yourself.
2x Pan fried plaice fillets w.Shrimp — 1x Prawns w. mayonnaise
Tatar w raw egg yolk and garnish — 2” Burger w Fried Egg

I was struggling even though the portions were smaller than last time I was there.
I would have preferred to have a starter split 3 ways followed by the main open sandwich. Yes, there is bread under the mountain of meat, its not gravy nor shadow its bread.
