Hygge – a Danish word for the Dictionary

There is a new buzz word for the English dictionary and it is the most wonderful word and situation in the world.
It is HYGGE.

I went out today and purchased a little book called “HYGGE – Comfort and Food for the Soul” as I just had to see what the unknown author (I can’t find the name anywhere) had to explain what HYGGE is. I had to smile at the cover that used 10-12 word just to try to translate it and 10 more words to define it.

What can I say HYGGE is just that very hyggeligt.

So I can only say to all my friends and followers have a lovely HYGGELIG New Year eve

Just some quotes I came across

Life is a process of becoming, a combination of states we have to go through.
Where people fail is that they wish to elect a state and remain in it.
This is a kind of death.

Anaïs Nin, Winter of Artifice

We should give as we would receive, cheerfully, quickly, and without hesitation;
for there is no grace in a benefit that sticks to the fingers.

Seneca, Morals
